I had my first green smoothie today and it sparked one of those, “Where have you been all of my life?!” moments.
The amazing part of green smoothies is that you get your servings of fruits and vegetables all in one tasty drink. Green smoothies are great for weight loss, digestive health, supporting the immune system, and not to mention a tasty & healthy snack!
All you need is a blender and these ingredients: (I modified my recipe from this website.)
- 1 small banana
- 1 small peach
- 1/2 kiwi
- a couple handfulls of spinach
- water (just enough to blend)
- ice (if desired)
